Meet Our Dentist, Dr. Andrew (Andy) Hoe
I am proud to say that my Calgary roots go back to 1936, when my Mom, Jennie, was born In Calgary and went on to become the only Asian Stampede Queen in 1958. I was born in Thompson, Manitoba where my Dad, Bill was the town’s first dentist. Our family then moved to Red Deer, and after attending Red Deer College, I followed my Dad’s footsteps and attended Dental School at the University of Alberta.
After graduating, I was the first dentist at Chinook Dental Center where I practiced till 2003. Practicing in an office located inside a major shopping center provided me with invaluable experience in all areas of dentistry (especially emergencies). In 2003, I moved my practice full time to Bite Dentalworks. It’s an exciting time to be a dentist - keeping up with the latest technological changes in modern dentistry is what makes my profession challenging, interesting, and fun. Some of my special interests include CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design Computer Aided Manufacture) dentistry, diagnostic technology, Cosmetic dentistry, Sedation Dentistry, and Pediatric (kids) Dentistry.
Away from Dentistry, I am an avid golfer, cyclist, and diehard Edmonton Oilers fan! As the proud parents of 2 kids, my wife and I share the same concerns that all parents have about their kids’ oral health. We have brushed and flossed our kids’ teeth, worried about cavities (they got them), and wondered if they will need orthodontic treatment (they did). We’ve “been there”. Our team all have kids of their own, and we treat every child patient as we want our kids to be treated. Our goal is to provide all of our patients with a Dental “Home” where they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.
Meet Dr. Park!
Dr. James Park has been a trusted dentist in Calgary since 1996. He lives in South Calgary with his wife, Maria, and their adorable toy poodle, Louie. James is a proud father to Julia, Mitchell, and Brandon.
Outside of dentistry, he loves golfing with friends, staying fit, and taking Louie for walks in Fish Creek Park. Dr. Park specializes in general family dentistry, with a focus on Cosmetic and TMJ care. He warmly welcomes all patients, old and new, to Bite Dental.
